well no problem there are lot of things can be bosses... like a vortigaunt of different colour, a rebel leader, a zombie or a rebel helicopter like the 1 of the beta...

You could make like a side part of the story of city 17 like another part of it thats never in HL2 but it would be a bit hard to make a boss since there are no bosses in HL2. It would be 2 easy of a boss.

do you remember in follow freeman or anticitizen 1 chapter when dog throwed a combine apc to some combine soldiers, blocking the way and stopping their pass? I think dog could be the boss and while gordon only sees what dogs does he throws the apc making ya search a different way to get him and ya found dog falling of the dropship mission: scape from he, he could be the perfect boss.

hmm never thought of that, its just the problem of getting dog to attack you. maybe he would just throw stuff, but that wouldnt seem like much of a boss.

He would need swinging motion with trigger hurt. In gmod, DOG never attacked combine, he just stood there getting hit.

That would require extensive programming for DOG's NPC, and would not be achieved through mapping alone.

We've already decided out storyline and the mod's progression. New boss NPCs or big, direct references to HL2 or the episodes are highly unlikely.
