Securing the Main Characters
During the main course of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, you'll have the chance to unlock six characters by completing various challenges in-game. Here's how:
Mesh
Meet Mesh at the Brink Terminal’s large teal platform, which you can reach by grinding on rails. Accomplish his score challenge and go over to the highest tower nearby for the second meeting. Things get a bit tougher here. After you complete his second challenge, Mesh moves to the canal next to the tunnel, losing his skateboard. Help him retrieve this lost item. The main trick here is draining the canal. Head over to a billboard-shielded control room – you'll need 140 Reps to do this. Drain the canal, and voila, Mesh joins your team!
Rave, Rise, and Shine
Unlocking Rave, Rise, and Shine requires a similar dedication to game challenges as they all involve multiple steps. Rave poses three challenges, originating from the Verdum Hills subway station. Similarly, Rise wants a series of pictures and tags within Pyramid Island. Shine is based within the Millennium Mall, testing your in-game dancing skills with four different dance challenges.
Solace and Vinyl
Get Solace and Vinyl in your crew by progressing through the game and completing the main story. You don't have to go out of your way or do anything special to unlock these characters.
Grabbing Post-Game Characters

Track Coil down an alleyway in Mataan. After you find him, mimic his signature moves, and he will lead you to a golden statue challenge. He will keep you on your toes with surprise location shifts, concluding with a dance-off inside the gold statue. Win the race against him, and Coil is yours!
Subsequent post-game characters involve locating characters in diverse locations and beating their specific challenges. For instance, navigate your way to Felix and Red with dance floor challenges. Other characters, like Base and Jay, DJ Cyber, Eclipse, Flesh Prince, Frank, Futurism, and Rietveld, pose varying challenges spread over unique locations.
Oldhead
A special task is required to unlock the Oldhead character. You have to tag every graffiti spot in the game, demanding a bit more work but offering quite the payoff with this unique character.
